Violent Impacts is out with University of California Press

Written with my brilliant colleague Dr. Kate Henne (The Australian National University), this book is the culmination of a decade of research into the sociocultural, political, and economic dimensions of the concussion crisis. And now it has finally dropped!

Kate and I are so excited to have this book out in the world. We hope it sparks new conversations about traumatic brain injury that draw on critical sociological insights into how and why TBI happen, who they are most likely to happen to, and what we can do about it.
